Nidhi is the author of the bestselling novel That Night, published by Penguin Random House in April 2021. It quickly became a national bestseller, selling over 70,000 copies and topping the horror charts on Amazon India.

Her second book, I Hear You, which blends domestic noir with science fiction, also achieved bestseller status. Both titles earned her a prestigious grant from the National Arts Council of Singapore. Nidhi made her debut as a playwright with Shankh-Naad, featured in the DASTAK 2021 theatre festival in Singapore.

With an Engineering degree from Kurukshetra University, she left a successful headhunting career to focus on writing and motherhood.
